How are you my lovely? It’s 14:14. I hope your sweet tum is very happy and its appetite is satisfied. I really do hope you’re okay my lovely, you slept well and restfully, and you’re having a really good day. I’m keeping every single thing crossed there’s no sign of a late night this week {} xxx
Here’s something to make you smile my beautiful sweetheart {} xx I know you’d know it well because it’s from Chuck Berry’s concert at the BBC. It’s My Ding a Ling. It’s absolutely hilarious, isn’t it?!! I’m looking forward to watching the rest of the concert.
My Ding a Ling was number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart on the 21st October 1972. That must’ve been a wonderful birthday present for Chuck. October is also filled with lots of fun and cheekiness {} xx
Tim Burgess was with Chris Hawkins on Radio 6 yesterday. They’re chatting from about 1:02:00, but if you go to about 1:09:00, you can hear The Charlatans’ new song Appetite. It’s an exclusive and you can’t hear it anywhere else at the moment. I think it sounds superb, especially towards the end, from 1:11:34. I hope you love it too my lovely {} xxx The interview is wonderful as well.
They used the Hammond organ to the fullest on their new album, and loved it. You can hear it gloriously on Appetite. Its appetite is well and truly satisfied as well.
I’m really struggling with the crash. I am resting physically, but I wish I could completely switch off mentally as well. It takes too much energy. I’m keeping everything crossed I can shower today.
As you know, showering and hair wash is very difficult, but I’ve only managed to have one shower since the surgery. I’m managing a quick wash so that everything is clean, but I wish I could shower instead. Hair’s completely given up on me. I’m so glad I can barely sweat since Long COVID.
It’s 15:14. 15:15 now. Thoroughly enjoy your special rendezvous with coffee for me too. They’ll give you lots of warm hugs and energising kisses from me too {} xx
