Good morning my most beautiful and precious starshine,
It’s 10:10. How are you my lovely? I really do hope you’re okay and you had a very restful and peaceful night’s sleep {} xxx I hope you enjoyed a wonderful lie in and you’re slowly waking up. It’s great Claudia didn’t stay for too long and it’s calm again.
I’m keeping every single thing crossed you can see the rugby today, and that it’s included with your TV package. I thought I might join you for a little bit. I remember you suggesting I watched it last year. I guess it’s my way of being with you this weekend {} xx
I thought I’d join you with Ireland vs Australia, but I was surprised to see that the Internationals aren’t on the normal channels anymore. They put a link to TNT on Amazon. I was equally surprised to see the subscription at £30.99 a month, which is quite a lot. I told Liron and she said it’s because they know people will want to see the sports live, so they ramp up the cost. It’s disgusting.
Again, I’m keeping every single thing crossed you can watch it today, but if you can’t, I know you’ll enjoy an equally exciting day. I’ll be with you in spirit either way {} xxx
My feeds have been depressing, but there were two things that made me smile and chuckle today. The first is Dean Martin with Tennessee Ernie Ford singing Ship Hits the Sand. The second is Bert Parks singing Wings’ Let ‘Em In, especially with the dancing. I hope they make you smile and chuckle as well my beautiful sweetheart {} xx
I think I’ll watch Some Like it Hot today. I’m sure I watched it last year. It’s wonderful you love it as well. I do miss you with all my heart {} xxx
I feel slightly fluey again today. It’s the PEM symptoms. Rest will alleviate it. On a positive note I think the circulation in my legs has improved since the iron infusions. My right leg always looked slightly darker since my last knee surgery, but they look similar know. Muscles are a bit better as well. It’s good and reassuring to see these small changes.
I’m still bleeding slightly, but my monthlies was so much better. I forgot what normal ones are like, and I could finally wear one pair of underwear instead of two (one of which was a period pant). It’s all worked out really well. I’ll know for sure over the coming months.
It’s 11:22. My brain and I are struggling with writing today. It’s time for a cuppa. I imagine you’ll be enjoying saying hello to coffee as well. Let’s enjoy our soothing cuppas together {} xx
Take it nice and gently my lovely, and enjoy the most fabulous, fun and exciting day for me too. I really do hope you will be relaxing with the rugby in an hour’s time. I got a bit worried last month. I was very sick after having my first small drink since surgery. I’m absolutely fine now. It was the side effects of the anaesthetic, which lasted a few weeks. I can no longer smell the paraffin either and my taste buds are fully back. The thought of not having any alcohol at all fills me with dread. It’s one of my treasured pleasures, just like you {} xxx
It’s 18:38. I just tuned into your special music party. Your Love by Lack of Afro featuring Jonah Hitchens is on the turntable. It’s fantastic and yes, you still do {} xxx Love is incredibly powerful and very healing. Hey Sister by Monguito Santamaria has just started. It’s very funky and lively. Love it! I wish I had the energy to listen for the rest of the party.
Despite the fabulous music, I’m keeping everything crossed you’re watching Wales vs Japan. It looks very close at the moment, which means it must be nail-biting. I imagine England vs New Zealand was very exciting as well. I am sorry about Italy.
I’m looking at the commentaries on the BBC, and as someone who doesn’t know much about rugby, I think it’s better than The Independent. It’s 14-13 to Wales now.
I loved my time with Marilyn, Tony and Jack. It’s such a brilliant and hilarious film isn’t it?!! With vermouth being mentioned, I thought it’s time I tried some, this way I can also try a Gibson. I ordered a bottle of Bottega Cinzano 1757 Vermouth di Torino Extra Dry. At £15.87, it was less the half price compared to some other places. I am looking forward to finally trying it.

They say that, “Australia are now right in the Irish 22.” I wish I could ask you what that means. I did a search and found that it was Irish snuff, and a strong one at that. I don’t think that’s right, but it reminded me, I think my grandmother used to have some snuff. I could be wrong, I could be right…
I couldn’t find anything about 22 in relation to rugby. Someone else wrote “Ireland are showing plenty of patience on the fringes of the 22”. I wish I could ask you.

Today really has been unexpected with how it’s turned out. It was the perfect way to spend this day with you. It’s been magic! With it being a year, I honestly wasn’t sure how this weekend was going to be, or how I was going to feel. My highlight was sharing the rugby with you this evening.
