It’s now 03:40 and it looks like they have. Yay!!! Absolutely brilliant and such a huge relief. Reform have been kept out, and Labour’s disgusting campaign against the Greens hasn’t worked. They really do prefer a Reform win to a Green win don’t they?
I can’t sleep but my brain’s not working. Sleep well and restfully my precious sweetheart. I know you’re also going to be over the moon when you wake up. The birds are singing cheerfully. It’s 04:04, they’re getting ready for the results. It is exciting {} xxx
Sky and BBC are giving the Greens such a hard time. Rajini Vaidyanathan is extremely sour and hostile towards Jenny Jones. The Greens are going to get the same treatment as Corbyn, but it won’t work.
This does feel like another Corbyn moment, where many got inspired and felt hopeful again, including myself. As I mentioned to you the last time we met, their policies were very similar. The big difference is, the Greens are unified and have a democratic process, unlike blue and red Labour.
14,980 votes! The others weren’t even close. Hannah Spencer’s speech is brilliant and much needed. Change is possible…
Rajini initially referred to Hannah’s speech as remarks, then continued being unpleasant towards Jenny Jones. Disgusting. No one can rain on the Greens parade today, try as they might. A vote for the Greens is finally a vote for the Greens.
