Hello my most beautiful and precious starshine,
It’s 04.14 and I can’t sleep. Apparently anaemia can disrupt sleep and cause insomnia. It’s been much worse over the last few months, as well as some of my other symptoms, including my heart rate.
It is making my Long COVID symptoms worse. Fingers crossed the iron will help. I’ll see if I can get a telephone appointment with the doctor today or within a week.
I just came across Jorge Ben Jor, and he has cheered me up. So cool and joyous. I hope you enjoy him as well my beautiful sweetheart, and he gets you grooving {} xx When I started listening to Taj Mahal, I was happily surprised to hear a little bit of Rod Stewart. I was completely wrong, it’s the other way around. Rod sampled Taj Mahal. I never knew! Did you?
I have two more songs from Jorge just for you. They’re so cool and funky. I think you’ll enjoy Ponta De Lança Africano and Hermes Trismegisto Escreveu. I love them. Again, they’ve really cheered me up. I’ve only heard these, but I think the whole album Africa Brasil must be fantastic.
