Writing to Reach You

Hello my most beautiful and precious starshine,

I can’t tell you how much I wish I could speak with you. I miss you, and so does my heart and soul. These letters I’m writing are like my sonnets for you, except they don’t really hit the fourteen lines, they definitely don’t rhyme, and they don’t always end with a revelation. There’s no rhyme or reason. I guess there doesn’t need to be.

You know me completely, and you know that this is my way of working through, processing and expressing my thoughts and emotions. This is all I know. The urge and need were too strong. It equated to the love and grief I feel for you. I couldn’t contain or stop the tsunami.

I never thought my letter writing project would end up being for me. I’m using the energy I spent with you, but I so wish I could spend it with you instead. I really do. I never, ever wanted to lose you.

I really hope there might be a time where you stumble upon these letters, so that you know just how much you, and your special and precious friendship meant to me. You mean the world to me. I will always treasure you and love you with all my heart unconditionally. My love and hugs for you are infinite {} xxx
