Clocks, Plants and Puzzles…

Good morning my most beautiful and precious starshine {} xxx

This just popped up, but I imagine you know this already. On this day in 1980, U2 released their first single 11 O’Clock Tick Tock. You saw them two years later, which means you were with them from the very beginning. That’s so lovely!! {} xx

Here’s U2 playing 11 O’Clock Tick Tock at Rocks Amphitheatre, Colorado in1983. You would’ve heard them play this live as well. It’s 11:11. I just checked the set list, you did!! I imagine they were brilliant and you remember it vividly. We don’t forget our first concert do we?!!

How are you my lovely? I really hope you’re okay, and you slept well, very restfully and happily. I hope you all did {} xxx I was so happy for you all when I saw the score last night. They must’ve been ecstatic and celebrating merrily!! They must also be super excited about the Europa League final on Wednesday as well. Fingers crossed xx

It’s 11:22. I hope you’re enjoying very slowly waking up. I hope you can take everything at a very relaxed pace today. You must be looking forward to Eurovision this evening.

It’s a shame sun only said a brief hello this morning. It was wonderful seeing their smile though. I feel very ill today, so I’ll keep this one short. I just wanted to share some photos with you {} xxx

I did these puzzles during the week. It’s difficult being upright for long, my hands were sore and they cramped as well, but I did enjoy putting them together.

The burnt smell of the MDF pieces, transported me back to the special workshop… I wish I could go back.

I haven’t heard the owl for a long time. Thanks to David Attenborough in Secret Garden, I now realise that there would have been two owls twit twooing. I don’t think the one saying “twit” would appreciate being called one. I wonder if they were tawny owls, and if they have a penchant for port?

Whooping crane is made of cardboard, and is whooping marvellous. I still have other gift puzzles that have been waiting for a few years. Soon.

These plants are looking very happy and healthy, and they wanted to say hello to you as well xx

I thought the Apricot Calla Lily died last year. She hadn’t been watered for at least five months, so I was delighted to see tiny shoots growing. She blooming magnificently now.

This is my second attempt at Cyclamen.They also arrived in a very sad state. The leaves are now growing well, and there are some flower buds starting to come through. Fingers crossed.

Fingers crossed it’s third time lucky with orange Kalanchoe. She arrived in a very sad state, but she’s coming back to life after a few months with food and water.

It’s 12:28. Take it nice and gently my lovely {} xx If you need to go out, I hope it’s not too busy. I imagine many people will be preparing for Eurovision tonight. Thoroughly enjoy all the music, politics and fun for me too {} xxx

I was shocked that they’re considering allowing Russia to participate again, and they stopped them due to broadcasting issues with Russia, rather than the war. Is this what they originally said, or are they trying to gaslight us as well, to make Israel’s inclusion acceptable?

It’s rest now. I need to rest properly today. I’m running like the wind since… Christopher Cross’s Ride like the Wind comes to mind.
