Prickly Heat…

6th July 2026

Good morning my most beautiful and precious starshine,

It’s 09:09. I imagine you’re on your way into work. Sun came out just for you xx How are you my lovely? I hope you’re okay, and you slept well and restfully {} xxx

With England’s win, I imagine there was a lot of excitement and celebration during the night. Wonderful!! There’ll be a lot of tired but happy people at work as well.

I know it’s probably unlikely, but I hope this is your final week. I imagine you’re still extremely busy with preparing and organising, as well as doing the mind-numbing days. I’m keeping everything crossed there aren’t too many of those.

It’s warming up as well. It was 26⁰C in this room last night. It was difficult getting to sleep. I slept well when I did, but I need more rest and sleep.

Here’s a joke from Puns@thepunnyworld:

I walked past a farm and saw a sign that read: “Duck, eggs!”

I thought, “That comma seems unnecessary…” Then it hit me.

I hope it makes you chuckle my lovely, along with Russ Abbot’s Masterbrain of the Universe sketch with Les Dennis

Fingers crossed we’re getting closer with the face cleanser. Borage oil is a magic ingredient. Without it, I wouldn’t be able to put the cleanser anywhere near my skin. It burns. Borage oil helps with irritation, moisture and the skin barrier.

I also found that the cetearyl glucoside in Montanov 68 irritates, but the cetearyl alcohol in it helps. Montanov is 20% cetearyl glucoside and 80% cetearyl alcohol. I can’t use it at 3% in the formula, but it’s not as irritating at 2%.

We can add cetearyl alcohol separately. At 1%, it’s made it less irritating and more moisturising. Fingers crossed it’ll be better at 2%. This is still far better than all the gentle cleansers I tried at the beginning of the year.

I just heard Sky are buying ITV’s television and streaming channels. This isn’t good, is it?! At least Farage is finally under scrutiny.

Liron is thankfully feeling a lot better than she has been. The TUC LGBTQ+ conference helped tremendously. She’s sleeping much better as well. Fingers crossed it’ll last. She’s also staying away from social media.

The draft Conversion Practices Bill for the LGBTQ+ has loopholes in it. There’s an exception for conversation practice, if it’s done for therapeutic purposes:

(3) Conduct which

(a) is carried out by a person towards an individual with such an intention, but

(b) is carried out in the course of providing health care services to the individual concerned,

is not a conversion practice unless the person acts in a way that falls far below the standards reasonably expected of a person in their position.

The bill would also make it legal for a parent to put the blame onto the therapist. For example, if a child realised they were transgender in therapy, the parent could easily say that the therapist converted them into being transgender. I imagine it could lead therapists to steer clear.

They’re opening up a minefield, in the same way they’ve done with the equalities act. They do know what they’re doing. It’s through the back door. They would need to close the loopholes to make it completely safe for the LGBTQ+ community.

Labour are putting all these things into place, which’ll help Reform carry out what they’re being funded to, if they get in. It’s disgusting.

This is a comforting and reassuring article by Daniel Lismore, who went to Clacton Pride and found that the majority of people are absolutely fine. They enjoyed celebrating together. There are only a small proportion of people who are against, and areas which are no good zones.

It is the media, politicians and the powerful who are driving the hate towards the LGBTQ+ community, particularly trans. Sadly, there are some LGB people, who hate the trans and queer community as well.

For the London Pride celebrations on Saturday, the government put up the rainbow flag, but without the trans and queer communities’ colours. Starmer had an event last week, and the bunting only had the rainbow colours as well. It happening twice is too much of a coincidence. It’s deliberate. They’re complicit with the rise in hate.

It’s 11:46. Sun’s shining brightly and I imagine you’ve already loved your beautiful moment with coffee. I hope you’re having a really good start my lovely. I also hope it’s not too hot there {} xx

I need to shower and try to finish a message. I’m so behind!! I just don’t want anyone to think that I don’t care, or that I don’t love them. I’m reminding myself of how ill I am, and how difficult it is to use my brain. How much harm it can cause.

My face is feeling very moisturised now with the test cleanser. My face oil is brilliant. Fingers crossed it’s not long until we have a workable cleanser.

It’s 11:55. Take the greatest care of yourself my beautiful sweetheart and have a wonderful day xx I hope it flies by. Sun will be eagerly waiting to take you home.

Have a wonderful rest tonight, and enjoy the most gorgeous, fun and relaxing evening with sunshine. Thoroughly enjoy playing your beautiful heart out for me too {} xxx

I’m also keeping every single thing crossed your hay fever isn’t too bad. Take it gently {} xx

I love you and I’m sending you tons and tons of magical healing love, comforting bear hugs and soothing kisses {} xxxx

Here’s Prickly Pear by Portico Quartet, for you to relax to later. I hope you enjoy its delicate notes my lovely {} xxx

It’s 27⁰C in here now. The heat is prickly.

Bumble-Burp…
