Safely Back Home…

11th April 2026

Good morning my most beautiful and precious starshine,

How are you? I really do hope you’re okay my lovely, and you had a very restful and peaceful night’s sleep. I hope you’re enjoying a very lazy hazy morning, and gently waking up {} xxx

I imagine you watching the landing. I initially started watching the live camera feed from the spacecraft, without commentary, until the camera went off at 00:01.

It was so peaceful to watch, but quite surreal at the same time. I thought it looked like they’re doing a simulation on earth. Reid and Victor looked so calm, seated, checking and doing what they needed to do. Orion was so still. You wouldn’t have a clue that they were in space, and travelling at such high speeds.

It’s completely mind-blowing isn’t it?!! It’s absolutely amazing how they’re fully shielded and insulated, from the blazing temperatures as well.

It’s 11:11. I couldn’t stay awake after 00:30. but I did wake up at 01:31 and quickly checked to see how they were. It was a huge relief to see they landed safely, and they are all well and healthy. What a spectacular experience!!! It’s was sheer magic we sharing it with them.

I do love this photo as well:

A Room With a View – Integrity, NASA.

I just remembered the brilliant Lunatik VR experience, which was a collaboration between Antony Gormley and Dr. Priyamvada Natarajan. This was Antony’s first VR experience. It was in 2019, the year before all our lives changed, and my life eventually came to a paralysing stop.

I usually went to London on my own, but Liron joined me this time, which was wonderful. It was an exciting experience travelling from Earth to the Moon, and looking out into the galaxy, but I do remember losing my bearings during it. That was just VR, which is a million miles away from the real thing.

I feel so thankful I got to experience so many magical wonders before my life as I knew it ended. Those memories will always stay with me, along with all my other memories.

I hope the two weeks have gone slowly, and you’ve loved every beautiful moment {} xx So many amazing things have happened, Integrity’s mission, Paul McCartney’s new single along with his album announcement, U2’s Easter Lily EP, release of Dr Who’s unseen episodes, the Greens polling second, and polling first for voters under 65, and much more.

For me it’s also been seeing Pink Paradise’s roots forming, and taking unexpected painterly quality photos. Here are two photos I took from my bed yesterday. It’s the reflection of the mirror in the en-suite.

A beautiful surprise from a dear friend and neighbour added to the special couple of weeks, along with my precious time with Liron. She’s sadly struggling severely with her energy as well. Thankfully not as severe as me, but still debilitating.

I imagine you’ve had so many beautiful magic moments as well. There’ll be another today with The Grand National. I’m keeping everything crossed for all of you xx It also reminds me of my uncle having a flutter on the horses.

It’s also Paul McCartney’s and the Beatles night. Fantastic!! Thoroughly enjoy them for me too my lovely {} xxx

It’s 12:12. The sun’s come out for us as well. Perfect!! It’s thirty eight years since Aztec Camera’s Somewhere in my Heart was released. I was almost fourteen and fell in love with it, especially Roddy’s guitar solo. You would’ve been twenty three.

I sadly really do need to be quieter for a while. I’m struggling extremely badly. With the continuous triggered states, my body doesn’t get a chance to recover and recharge. I have two physical appointments this month’s, and those will take everything out of me.

I also need to try and catch up with the messages, two are for my rheumatology and respiratory consultants. They’ve been waiting since last year. I’m so thankful my precious friends understand, but it doesn’t stop me from feeling awful about the huge delays in writing.

It’s 12:21. The wind’s starting to roar, but sun doesn’t care. Take the greatest and gentlest care of yourself my lovely, and enjoy the most fabulous, fun and exciting weekend for me as well {} xxx

I hope you’re eased in gently on Monday. Coffee’s going to love seeing you, and excited to hear about all your amazing adventures. They’ll give you lots of warm hugs and kisses from both of us {} xx

I almost forgot, I saw this heartwarming clip of the beautiful friendship between Tony Putman and Bob the Robin. I hope it warms your heart as well xx Precious friendships come in all forms. I love you {} xxx

I’m sending you all my love, with the biggest and tightest of magical healing and protective bear hugs and kisses {} xxxx

It’s 13:28. Just read the horrendous news that after winning, Gold Dancer had to be put down after suffering a broken back. It’s absolutely horrific that his back legs were dragged through the fence, and his rider continued regardless, so that they could win the race.

This should never be allowed to happen, and it shouldn’t be seen as a win. Poor, poor horse. I didn’t know horse racing could be so brutal. I imagine you’re horrified by it as well. I hope you’re okay my lovely {}

It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World…
