So Many…

13th July 2026

Hello my most beautiful and precious starshine,

How are you my lovely? I hope you’re keeping really well, and you enjoyed a fabulous, fun and very relaxing weekend. I hope you thoroughly enjoyed the Wimbledon finals. I wish I could ask you directly. I wish I could speak with you {} xxx

I’m keeping everything crossed this week will be gentler and quieter for you, and it goes quickly. Then you’re as free as a bird!! Yay!!!

It’s 18:18 xx You must be very happily chilling with sunshine. It’s such a glorious evening, and a relief to have it a bit cooler. It was so gusty last night, wasn’t it?! I had to close the windows. I hope you slept well xx

With so many people passing away, it’s been such an awful week, hasn’t it? I was really shocked and sad to hear of Sam Neill’s death this morning.

I saw a wonderful clip of him recently. He talked about his recovery from blood cancer using stem cells. It’s a huge breakthrough and he wanted to help others. He helped push the Australian government to fund treatments for patients. It’s absolutely brilliant.

He was so happy, filled with hope, and ready to start working again on another movie. So sad.

My favourite film of his is The Dish. Do you have a favourite? I think you’d love The Dish. I’m going to re-watch it. The soundtrack’s also brilliant. I’m sure I’ve already told you this. The very special Good Morning Starshine’s on it. The Wings of an Eagle by Russell Morris is also beautiful {} xx

Someone posted this fantastic clip of Sam Neill talking about the names of his animals, on The Graham Norton Show. It’s so funny and lovely. I hope it makes you chuckle as well, my precious sweetheart xx

My brain worked properly for the first time in a long while, on Saturday. It sadly didn’t last long because I pushed it to its limit. I never learn. I’m trying to get something sorted for you. I hope to get it to you when you return, but I think it might take longer.

Again, with everything being so uncertain, I need to send it so that you have it. They’ve been waiting since last year, and are very eager to finally be with you {} xxx

I remembered a conversation we had in a group, and it gave me reassurance that you’re still there. It was when my family denied anything happened to me, including the violence. I’d sent you a message, which you hadn’t picked up. It was about seven years ago.

My memory is not normally like this. I have no idea why I’ve remembered so much, but I’m so thankful that I have.

My nose is getting bunged up and my brain is starting to tingle and struggle. I need to stop.

Take it extra gently my lovely, and give yourself lots of love and care for me too {} xx Enjoy the most beautiful and relaxing evening, with your precious heart overflowing with all the things you love {} xxx

I’m sending you tons and tons of love, with the biggest and tightest of magical healing and protective bear hugs, covered in sunshine kisses. Rest well my lovely {} xxxx It’s 19:19. I love you xx

Something to make you smile before you go to sleep xx There’s a book called Ducks: And how to Make Them Pay, by William Cook. I thought you might like these reviews:

“Let me tell you I was bitterly disappointed to learn that this book is, in fact, an instructional guide to the profitable husbandry of ducks as a craft. There is not one sliver of insight about holding ducks accountable for their crimes against humanity, Earth or God” Rex Libris on Goodreads, 7 August 2022

“When I purchased the book, I thought it was going to be a complete guide on how to make ducks pay for their numerous crimes against the people of this planet. I was completely wrong and instead I got an entirely useless book on how to profit from ducks and suchlike. There is absolutely nothing on how to breed cannibal ducks or the best way to extract revenge on the bloodthirsty beasts. A totally misleading tittle and a complete waste of money.” Patroclus on Goodreads, 28 September 2020

At least the ducks are safe! They’d give plenty of ducks.

It’s 21:00. Nnight my precious starshine xx Sleep well, sleep restfully and peacefully, with sweet dreams for you and for me {} xxx
