It’s 20:48. I thought I’d join you with your fabulous party. Keep The Fire Burning (SLY Rework) by Average White Band is playing. It’s fantastic and so uplifting. I can imagine you happily grooving along to it. Lovely! xx

I’ve struggled badly today but I managed to make some test shampoos. I think the very first test worked, because it was so diluted with it being a foamy solution. It expanded about four times in volume.
I had a salty taste with 15g and 20g of decyl glucoside today. I tested one on my hair and the other on my skin. 10g on my skin felt better, but it’s still not right. I need to see if reducing it further and increasing the xanthan gum might help.
I think I might contact the company and ask if they can tell me their formula. I know it’s very unlikely, but I’ll ask just in case. The ingredients they now use are very different to these.
I’m not feeling too stressed. I am getting better with the uncertainty of these things. It helps that the foamy version worked. Worst case scenario is using the foamy version until I can get it right. I still have some of the original shampoo left, but it’s past its use by date.
