Magic in the Air…
30th August 2025
Hello my most beautiful and precious starshine,
How are you my lovely? I hope you’re okay, and you had a restful and peaceful night’s sleep. I hope you’re enjoying taking it gently and at a relaxed pace. It was wonderful sun came out for us this morning {} xxx
I’m struggling today. All the running is catching up with me. With Liron being back, I feel safe again. I have been affected badly by the delivery. My tum churns every time someone comes to the door. I know this is echoes from my childhood. Little by little.
Speaking of childhood, Back to the Future turned 40 this year and it’s being re-released on 31st of October. There’s a lot of magic in the air that month. It’s such a brilliant film. I’ve seen it so many times. It was only on my last visit that I discovered it’s Time Bomb Town by Lindsay Buckingham, playing on the radio when Marty wakes up. I remember sharing it with you {} xx
Also on this day in 1986, 39 years ago, Steve Winwood was no.1 in the US and Canada with Higher Love. I’m surprised it only reached 13 here. It’s a great song and very uplifting.
Naturally the brilliant Gimme Some Lovin’ comes to mind. I never noticed until today that it was released on 28th of October 1966. Yes, October is a very special month {} xxx
There really have been some amazing people from Brum, including you {} xx
Take the greatest and gentlest care of yourself my beautiful sweetheart. I know you’ll be creating lots of magic of your own today. Thoroughly enjoy making your precious heart sing for me too {} xxx
I think I’m going to go back to the future. It’s comfort food for the soul. All three are on iPlayer at the moment.
I’m thinking of you and I love you with all my heart. I’m also sending you tons and tons of comforting bear hugs and kisses. They’re looking forward to spending the day with you {} xxxx

I’ve just learnt that Capella is not a double but a quadruple star, with two binary pairs (companions), so I imagine the photo I took on Thursday was one binary pair. It must be Capella Aa and Capella Ab because of its size and brightness, not Capella H and Capella L with them being red dwarfs.
I also read that the other stars in close proximity to Capella have been catalogued as being companions, but they’re physically unrelated. Companions are pretty special and rare so it’s not surprising. Magic is happening all around us {} xxx
