Quadrophenia, Bono and the Next Wave…
28th May 2025
Hello my most beautiful and precious starshine,
I hope you’re okay my lovely and enjoying the most gorgeous day. It’s wonderful the gloom left and it brightened up this afternoon. I think of you every time the sun comes out, and hope you’re enjoying it with a walk or your in magical garden {} xxx
I have a couple of treats just for you. You might already know, but just in case, Saddlers Wells have done a mod ballet of Quadrophenia. This live clip looks amazing and filled with emotion. I imagine the ballet’s brilliant. I’d love to see it. I imagine you would too.
I also thought of you when Bono’s interview with Jimmy Kimmel popped up. They talk about the film of his book, Stories of Surrender, and his father, which is really interesting. I hope you enjoy them both my beautiful sweetheart {} xx
Something that isn’t a treat is COVID-19. There’s a wave that’s due to hit us in a few weeks. It’s in Asia and the US at the moment. Thailand are reverting back to online teaching. It sounds like a nasty variant. They’re calling it the razor blade throat.
Liron’s been using Boots Dual Defence Nasal Spray and Dentyl Dual Action Smooth Mint CPC Mouth Spray. Both help reduce transmission of COVID-19 and other bugs. It’s the CPC in the mouth spray that offers protection. A mouthwash with CPC would also work if the spray’s not available.
I don’t know if they can completely prevent infection, but they’d help reduce the viral load considerably. I wish I could put a protective bubble around you {} xx
I’m keeping everything crossed I can get to the hospital tomorrow morning to get my blood sucked. I’ve been sleeping a bit better since seeing foxy. I also think having the realisation about my dad’s rage being a trauma response has helped as well. I still keep waking up, but I’m getting better sleep and my battery is charging.
My fuchsia and bougainvillea are coming back to life again. Poor things needed food. Bougainvillea is starting to sprout leaves along the whole of the stem and branches. It’s amazing. She’s been quite barren for a few years, leaves were sparse.
Fuchsia is one of the most resilient plants. I’m not sure she’ll ever flower again, but she almost died three times now. She’s a bit like a cat. I’ve never had the tiny leaves growing in between the leaves before. She’s looking very happy.
I imagine you’re giving your beautiful plants lots of TLC, and they must be blossoming happily. I hope you’re giving yourself lots of TLC as well {} xx
Like fuchsia and bougainvillea, I just need the right medicine/s to get my body working again. I’m sure of it. It may not get back to how it was, but I’d be happy for any improvement. My body does feel more resilient. Oxygen is the best medicine I have at the moment. You were as well {} xxx
Take it gently my lovely. Rest well, and sleep well with the sweetest of dreams for both of us. I love you and I’m hugging you with all my heart {} xxxx
