Still Feels Like Home…

Hello my most beautiful and precious starshine,
I really hope you’re okay my lovely and managing to keep cool. I know you’ll be busy creating delicious magic, but I hope you’re enjoying the most beautiful and relaxing day. If you went for a walk, I hope you loved it. I hope you’re thoroughly enjoying Glastonbury as well. I’ve been thinking of you {} xxx
I watched tiny bits but wanted to see Snow Patrol. I’ve always wanted to see them live. I didn’t know the last time they were at Glastonbury was twenty one years ago. I did wonder if you’d be watching them, but Nile and CHIC were on at the same time, so I wasn’t sure. I’ll catch up with Nile and CHIC. They would’ve been very cool and a lot of fun. I imagine you loved them if you saw them.
Snow Patrol were absolutely brilliant, but I didn’t expect to react in the way I did. I started crying my eyes out when they started singing Run. I also felt the pain in my heart. It’s been a while. I thought of you and looked at the time. It was 18.18. I really hoped you were watching them {} xxx
I don’t know why, but I always think of you when I see double digits. It was 21.21 when we were in each other’s lives. Have no idea why. I’ve never done it before.
Whatever happens, I will always be right beside you my lovely {} xx I know there wasn’t a clear goodbye in February. I’m still hoping there won’t be a goodbye. It’s going to take a long time for me to clear up my mess.
I couldn’t help but think of you with all the songs Snow Patrol sang. I was deeply affected emotionally. I don’t know why but Open Your Eyes made me cry for the very first time, and so did Heal Me. I remember you loving their Wildness album as well. {} xx
As I told you the very last time we met, Snow Patrol feels like home, as does Richard Hawley. So do you, you still feel like home. You always will () xxx Richard Hawley’s Open Up Your Door comes to mind. It’s my ultimate favourite song of his.
Liron saw me upset. She said that the pain I feel is because of the depth of love I have for you, and that this is a good thing. She’s absolutely right. For that, I am truly blessed. I do love you with all my heart {} xxx
I didn’t know Parcels and Future Islands were there too. Future Islands’ Sun in the Morning comes to mind. You always were:
