Stormy Friday…

Hello my most beautiful and precious starshine,
It’s 15:53. The weather is horrendous. Storm Amy is quite a fierce force isn’t she?! I really do hope you’re okay my lovely, and you’ll soon be home. Get home safely. I’m keeping everything crossed you don’t get too wet. I hope you won’t need to be out for too long later, then you can settle in, and be warm and cosy {} xxx
It’s been non-stop with messages, calls and therapy today. My monthlies is adding to the drain as well. I’m bleeding a lot and blood clots have been huge again. It’s the worst it’s been since the iron infusions and tablets. I really do need the surgery. This is the sign I needed and was happy to receive it.
I’ll be having the procedure on Wednesday 15th October at Little Aston hospital. I wasn’t expecting it to be so soon. I have three pre-op appointments, one over the phone, one physical assessment and a blood test. Suffice to say, my night guard is happy to wait at the dentist until the end of the month.
Today was too much. I need to do strict resting now, so that I’m well enough. I’ll be able to over the weekend. I’ll be glad when it’s all over. October is quite a special and eventful month. Coincidentally, Miles Kane is going to be in Brum on the 15th October as well. He’ll be playing and signing his new album at HMV The Vault at 5pm. I’ll be in good company on my surgery day.
I’d love to see him live. I would have gone if I was well, especially for another special signed copy…
I was trying to think what The Vault was before. After a search, I remember it as the Hummingbird Club, although I never went there because I was too young. I think I might’ve gone to it when it was the Academy, but I can’t remember who I saw. Did you go there? I imagine you did, and I bet you had tons of fun.

It’s wonderful to see Jools is returning on Sunday as well. I’m going to see if I can join you this time. I am improving. Little by little, but I mustn’t push it, especially at the moment.

The weather feels indicative of what’s happening at the moment. It is stormy. Zack and the Greens are so refreshing against the storm. Let’s hope. It is exciting. He’s having a brilliant start and he’s a fantastic communicator. I’ll listen to his conference speech later. As always, I’d love to hear your thoughts {} xx I do love the democratic process of The Greens.
