Tainted Love…

Good afternoon my most beautiful and precious starshine,
I just discovered Tainted Love was originally sung by Gloria Jones. I’m completely shocked. I thought it was Soft Cell. Gloria’s brilliant as well.
I also found that Song to the Siren by This Mortal Coil, was one of David Lynch’s all time favourites. Here he is on his wonderful Weather Report. He wanted to use it in Blue Velvet but didn’t have the funds for the license. He eventually used the song in Lost Highway.
I remember you sending me Tim Buckley’s live version on the Monkees Show. It’s incredibly moving and haunting. I wish I could’ve heard you play it. I know you would’ve played it beautifully {} xx
I also want to share Kraftwerk’s The Man Machine with you. It’s live at the Masonic Temple in Michigan, and it looks like an installation. I love it. I hope you do too {} xx
You must be extremely busy. Thoroughly enjoy your scrumptious lunch and much needed peaceful moment for me as well. I imagine you’ll be counting down the hours. I hope it goes quickly and you get home at your normal time.

Someone posted Tim Buckley’s live version of Song to the Siren. Perfect timing. I found it comforting. I’ve listened to it so many times since you sent it to me.
