Would You Like to Go On That Train?…
9th June 2025
Hello my most beautiful and precious starshine,
I really hope you’re okay my lovely and you’ve had a really good day, despite it being full on. It’s 16.43, I hope you haven’t got too long to go now, and you get home at your normal time {} xxx
I’ve crashed hard now, which was expected. Originally they were going to book me in for the pelvic scan on Thursday. I couldn’t have made it. I think it’ll be okay. There shouldn’t be anything too serious. I think getting the scare a couple of years ago has affected me. I wish my body worked.
Unknowingly, oxygen came to my rescue again. I would’ve been much worse with the reduced red blood cells. It also explains why I’ve needed more. It is the best medicine. I’m incredibly lucky I crashed at the right place with the right person.
I fell asleep this afternoon which was great. I need more. I really do hope you’re sleeping well my lovely. I’m also keeping my fingers crossed your hay fever isn’t too bad. I hope everything is okay {} xx
I woke up to Sister Rosetta Tharpe singing This Train. It reminded me of when you played Night Train. I think you also sent me Louis Prima’s rendition. It’s fantastic and so funny. You also played the wonderful The Night by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. I revisited yours. You play them brilliantly and you do sound very cool. I do feel joy when I hear you play, and my heart warms up.
Speaking of Sister Rosetta, Mick Jagger is doing a documentary about her. It should be great.
A meme popped up. Nigel Farage is in the photo holding a brick. Can you guess the word that’s on it? Clue Pink Floyd song, replace the “b” with a “p” and sing the line.
BBC are rolling out the carpet for Reform by changing their news and drama output for reform voters. Impartiality was never there, but it’s so blatant now. So much has changed since November.
This did make me laugh, and I hope it makes you laugh as well {} xx It’s Garron Noone’s reaction to Guinness milkshake. I find beer too bitter, but the Guinness I had at the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin was delicious. It’s not the same here. That was my first half pint.
I hope you’re now very happily home my adorable sweetheart. Once everything is done, completely switch off, relax and enjoy the most beautiful and restful evening. I hope you’ll be nourishing your precious heart {} xxx
I love you and I’m hugging you tightly through the phone. Your Night Train is playing in my head. Wonderful {} xxxx

Annie Lennox popped up singing I Only Want to be With You. It’s the first time I’ve heard it and the first time I’ve heard of The Tourists. I never knew she was with them before The Eurythmics. I didn’t recognise Dave Stuart either. I hope you enjoy it my lovely {} xxx
Last thing for today. Can you draw a box with three lines? It got me.

I just read Sly Stone has passed away and thought of you {} xx He’s brilliant and such a huge influence. I remember sending you Hot Fun in the Summertime. I also love If You Want Me to Stay. I heard it in a movie, but it’s bugging me that I can’t remember.
Found it. It was in Made in Heaven with Timothy Hutton and Kelly Mcgillis. I love that movie. Two souls meet and fall in love in heaven, but they need to be born. They have 30 years to find each other. I think I’ll watch it tomorrow.
Sleep well and very restfully my precious angel. Dream sweet dreams for me. I love you {} xxxx
