Your First Concert Ticket…

8th November 2025

Hello my most beautiful and precious starshine {} xxx

How are you? I really do hope you’re okay lovely and you’re keeping really well. I hope you all are {} xx I hope you’ve had a really good week, and you’re now taking it very gently. I imagine you’ve enjoyed something very special for lunch.

I almost lost you today. My phone died on me, and the only thing I was worried about were your recordings. I have your photos securely saved, but not your music. Thankfully we got the phone working, and I have your precious recordings. They feel like the last thing I have left of you. I’d never want to lose them. It would feel like losing you all over again. You’d completely disappear, and my heart would break again… It’s 16:16.

Phone’s really are made to last just three years aren’t they? I’ve had this one for three years and one month. It’s been struggling for the last few months. A new one will be on its way. It’s worked extremely hard though. I do rely on it for everything, and it’s my lifeline to the outside world. I can’t use my laptop for long because I need to sit up.

The inspection went well and it was wonderful seeing her. She spotted the large number of berries on our front tree, and told us that it means we’re going to have a cold winter. I never knew this.

As expected, my crash has worsened. It’s difficult using my brain as well. Complete switch off and rest is the best medicine.

I have something fun for you {} xx Tim Burgess has just launched a vintage souvenir ticket generator on The Merch Market. We can create tickets for concerts we’ve been to, as well as future ones, and it’s free to use. I thought you could use it to create a ticket for your very special first concert, like I have, and perhaps others you’ve loved as well.

I found all the ticket information for mine online, including the ticket price and time. You’ll be able to as well. I generated a few designs. Choosing the date function works better in Chrome rather than Firefox. I think the fonts might be changing daily, and it’s different with each browser, which is a nice surprise.

I’m wrong. I just found that the font changes when you reload the page. I hope you have lots of fun with it my lovely {} xx

Whilst I was searching, I was amazed to find this newspaper cutting for Erasure’s concert. It was only £7.51, so I naturally had to get it. It’ll be here very soon. I’m so excited! Another wonderful and unexpected discovery was that their promoters, M.C.P, were based in Walsall!

I remember sending you La Gloria from that concert. I was amazed to find the full Wild Party concert yesterday, and the quality is great compared to La Gloria. Gary Davis’s introduction is wonderful as well, and it did made me smile. I never knew there were 60,000 of us there. I’ve only seen a bit of it, but it did bring back a lot of happy memories. I was so excited and loved every minute of it. I was blown away by the staging and costumes. They were magical and so much fun. It did feel like A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

I imagine you can clearly remember how you felt at your first concert as well. They are very special, a bit like a rite of passage. I never asked if you saw them again. Did you? I hope so {} xx

On the news front, isn’t it fantastic Zohran Mamdani is in charge of New York?! Let’s hope the tide will start turning here as well. Go Greens Go!!

It’s 18:37. I imagine your cool music party’s in full swing. Thoroughly enjoy it, and have tons of fun playing your gorgeous heart out for me too {} xx

Have the most fabulous, fun and restful evening my beautiful sweetheart. Enjoy your heavenly meal for me as well, along with some delicious medicine {} xxx

I’m going to watch the new Frankenstein movie now. I love you so much. Take it gently my lovely and rest well. I’m hugging you ever so tightly through my poorly phone. They’re going to really miss you {} xxxx
