‘On the Verge’ was inspired by a reoccurring dream. I was standing on a precipice looking down, not knowing how I was going to get down. It was frightening and I felt I was going to fall. In one dream I was standing on top of a set of stairs where the steps were vertically inclined. There was nothing to grip on to. These dreams symbolised me needing to face my own demons.

I used still images to produce the film ‘Tangled’. It shows the brief moments when light comes in during periods of depression.
